    February 2026

Weekly Standout Honk and Wave Rally: Valentine's Special: Love Your Neighbor

Please join our peaceful protest! Let's line Washington St and stand for our immigrant neighbors and all who are impacted by ICE/DHS/Border Patrol cruelty. We know that ICE doesn’t make our communities safer and that LOVE unites us all.

It's also Valentine's Day, so we will mix some love songs into the playlist and have treats to keep us going. We are asking that you please wear red if you are so inclined.

Bring your friends & families, your signs, your warm attire, and most of all, your heart!

If you've never been to a protest before (or it's been a while), this is a great place to start. We will have extra signs for anyone who would like one, and a few chairs for anyone who needs a rest

    This a local Indivisible event!

Next No Kings Rally Sceduled: March 28

    Saturday, March 28, 2026

    noon

    Riley Plaza

    No Kings Day

After holding the largest single-day, nonviolent protest in US history in October, we reminded you that No Kings Day is not an end or a beginning. No Kings Day is one piece of a continuing legacy of struggle in this country that began when the first colonists stepped foot

on this land. We will continue to fight on the side of morality, freedom, equality, and kindness until we cannot anymore.

It is with that spirit of ongoing resistance that we announce the next No Kings Day on March 28.

We will have a full rally this day, complete with speakers, music, and a few surprises. One of our speakers will be from Solidarity for Tsuru, a group of Japanese Americans who were interred in the detainment camps of World War II, along with their families , friends and allies. They will speak of the atrocities of having concentration camps in our country. Others will speak on the pres3nce of ICE in our communities, as well as authoritarianism in our country.

Now is the time to use your voice, and make your presence known! Now is the time for the action only a No kings rally can provide and embody !

We are looking for a few good people to help out, so let us know if you’re interested in volunteering, or even speaking or singing, please let us know by contacting us here at salemscall@yahoo.com
